Police rescue two critically injured UPDF soldiers

NEWS- The Uganda Police Force has rescued two UPDF soldiers after they were involved in an accident.

Luke Owoyesigyire, the Kampala Metropolitan Deputy police spokesperson revealed that the Police working together with fire and rescue services have  rescued the two victims as they responded at an incident where a Updf Land cruiser H4DF2180 was involved in a derailment with a Uganda Railways locomotive. 

According to Owoyesigyire, the two rescued soldiers were in very critical conditions. 

Owoyesigyire noted that the two, both privates have already been taken for treatment.
He added that the situation at the scene is now contained and normal traffic has resumed.
