RUKUNGIRI-Police in Rukungiri have in custody a 36 yrs old primary 4 & 5 science teacher for sodomizing a 16 years old boy.
The suspect has been identified as Baron Tumwakyire a Science teacher at Kembundu primary school Buyanja sub county Rukungiri district,while the victim is a 16 years old boy, student of Brilliance high school, Kihihi in Kanungu district.
Kigezi region police spokesperson Elly Maate says According to the victim on Tuesday 20/12/2022 at about7:00pm at Kishanda ll village, Nyakagyeme Sub county Rukungiri district,he was taken by the suspect to Kamuhogo trading center and bought for him two sodas.
Then later was allegedly taken to the banana plantation next to the (suspect’s) home, where he alleged to have carnal knowledge with him.
Maate says Inquiries have commenced, the victim was examined and Relevant statements recorded.
