Court of Appeal’s Justice Kenneth Kakuru dies at Aga Khan hospital

Court of Appeal Justice Kenneth Kakuru has died, at the age of 65 

According to Judiciary spokesperson Jamson Karemani, Justice Kenneth Kakuru has been at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi  battling stage four prostate cancer.

Kenneth Kakuru was a Ugandan lawyer and judge, who served as a justice of the court of appeal, since May 2013.[ He gained  prominence for his dissenting judgment in the ‘age limit case’, has been on the appellate court’s bench since 2013 when he was tapped from private practice.

He was born in Uganda and attended local schools for his primary and secondary school education .He obtained Law at Makerere University, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws degree, he also graduated with master of Laws degree still at Makerere University he studied Diploma in Legal Practice was from Law development center.
